Frequently Asked Questions
-
SMASH Coaching is structured, results-focused coaching for people who are capable but stuck in patterns that aren’t working. It is not about talking in circles. It is about getting clear, making decisions, and following through.
-
Most coaching stays in insight. This moves into action. You will still build awareness, but the focus is on what you do with it. There is structure, accountability, and honest feedback. If you are looking for something passive or open-ended, this will feel different.
-
This is for people who already function at a high level but feel blocked, inconsistent, or unclear in key areas of their life. You likely know what to do on some level. You are just not doing it consistently, or you are second-guessing yourself and losing momentum.
-
More clarity. Better decisions. Stronger follow-through. Clients often see real movement in areas where they have been stuck for a long time. That can look like cleaner boundaries, more consistent habits, or finally taking action on things they have been avoiding.
-
Sessions are focused and structured. We look at what you said you would do, what actually happened, what got in the way, and what comes next. You will be challenged, but not overwhelmed.
-
Clarity usually comes quickly. Real results come from consistency. The more you engage and follow through, the faster things change. Performance improves over time as changes are implemented and refined. The speed depends on how quickly decisions are made and executed.
-
Clear positioning, messaging direction, audience focus, and a plan for how content and offers connect. It is not a slide deck that sits unused. It is something you actively use to guide decisions and execution.
-
Yes. This is usually one of the first things we address. If your messaging is unclear, everything else becomes harder. The goal is to make your offer easy to understand and easy to act on.
-
Clarity, consistency, and performance. That can show up as stronger engagement, better conversion rates, more qualified leads, or more consistent output. Metrics matter, but so does whether your marketing actually feels easier to run.
-
No. This is not a fully outsourced marketing department. You will be involved in the process. The goal is to build something that works and that you understand, not something you are dependent on.
-
This works if you want to think clearly, make decisions faster, and improve how your marketing actually performs. If you are looking for someone to take everything off your plate with no involvement from you, this will not be the right fit.
-
Start by booking a consultation through the site. We will look at what is currently happening, where things are not working, and what would actually move the needle.
-
Yes. Most SMASH Coaching and consulting engagements are conducted virtually, making it easy to work together consistently regardless of location.
Virtual engagements may include one-on-one coaching, strategy sessions, website and analytics reviews, team consultations, working sessions, and ongoing advisory support. In-person workshops, speaking engagements, and select consulting projects may also be available.
-
I work with founders, business owners, executives, marketers, and other high performers who want greater clarity, stronger strategy, and more consistent results.
Some clients need help improving their marketing or growing a business. Others are developing as leaders, navigating a career transition, managing increased responsibility, or working through patterns that are slowing their progress.
The strongest fit is someone who values thoughtful strategy, direct feedback, practical recommendations, and accountability.
-
The length depends on your goals and the type of support you need.
Coaching is generally structured as a multi-month relationship because meaningful, sustainable progress usually requires more than a single conversation. Sessions may take place weekly, twice monthly, or monthly.
Marketing consulting may be structured as a defined project, an audit and strategic roadmap, or an ongoing advisory engagement. The scope, timeline, responsibilities, and expected outcomes are agreed upon before the work begins.
-
Pricing depends on the service, scope, frequency of support, and level of implementation involved.
Coaching is offered through structured packages or ongoing engagements rather than one-time sessions. Marketing consulting may be priced as a defined project, a monthly engagement, or a customized combination of services.
Before you commit, you will receive a clear explanation of the investment, what is included, and what each of us will be responsible for.
-
Yes. Combining the two can be especially valuable when a business challenge involves both strategy and leadership.
For example, a founder may need stronger positioning and a clearer marketing plan while also needing help prioritizing, delegating, making decisions, or following through. A marketing leader may need strategic guidance while developing the confidence and leadership skills required for a larger role.
The engagement will be structured so both the coaching and marketing work receive clear focus.
-
Yes. I can work alongside an internal marketing team, executive team, agency, freelancer, or other outside partners.
My role may include strengthening the strategy, identifying gaps, clarifying priorities, improving measurement, guiding execution, or helping the team make better decisions.
The goal is not to replace capable people. It is to ensure that everyone is working from a clear strategy and focusing their time on the work most likely to create meaningful results.
-
Both options are available, depending on the engagement.
Some clients need an audit, strategic roadmap, or experienced advisor who can help them make stronger decisions. Others need hands-on support with website content, SEO, AI optimization, analytics, messaging, measurement, or implementation planning.
SMASH is not a large full-service agency. The approach is intentionally focused and senior-level. We will clearly define what I will lead, what you or your team will handle, and where additional specialists may be useful.
-
A marketing strategy engagement is built around the specific challenges and decisions affecting your business.
Depending on your needs, the work may include positioning, audience strategy, messaging, brand direction, offer development, SEO, AI optimization, content strategy, digital authority, analytics, customer acquisition, conversion improvement, and marketing team priorities.
The goal is to identify what is actually limiting performance, establish clear priorities, and create a practical strategy that guides real decisions and execution.
